The Advantages of Using Marker Boards
Marker boards, also known as white boards, are frequently used in education, whether at a grade school or college level, and within the workforce. The advantage of marker boards is that they are easy to write on and just as easy to wipe off. They are attractive wall pieces that allows instructors to “write on the wall,” quickly grabbing the attention of their listeners. Designs of marker boards can vary, including in size (3×4 through 4×16), or in the quality of the board, including a fine porcelain material. Other boards can accept magnets, which can be used as effective aids in teaching. There are also combination unit boards, which cut the board in half and are constructed using different materials. Markers used to draw or write on marker boards can be red, blue, green or black and are labeled as special “LCS markers” for an easier erase.
