A Seal Laminator Preserves Important Documents
A seal laminator is a type of machine that is used to encase important papers or other documents into a permanent plastic covering. This covering makes the documents more rigid while protecting them against water or other damage. The documents can be used much longer once they have been laminated, and will not become dog-eared, fade, or tear. Most seal laminators heat two pieces of laminate, one on each side of a document, melting them together through a heating process. This process makes for a very tight seal which cannot be reopened. It is very important to remember that a seal laminator may or may not vary the temperature used. If you are going to laminate a very important document, extreme high heat may cause damages. In cases such as these, it is wise to use a seal laminator that is fully controllable.
